What is the best time to trek in Nepal?
The best seasons for trekking in Nepal are spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November). During these months, the weather is stable, temperatures are moderate, and the mountain views are crystal clear. Winter treks (December–February) are also possible at lower elevations, while the monsoon (June–August) is best avoided for high-altitude treks.
Not at all! We offer treks for all experience levels — from gentle village walks to challenging high-altitude expeditions. Our expert guides will assess your fitness and tailor the pace accordingly. We recommend moderate physical fitness for most treks, and we can suggest preparatory exercises to help you get ready.
We provide a detailed packing checklist upon booking. Essentials include: quality trekking boots, layered clothing (base layer, fleece, down jacket), waterproof shell, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), water bottles, and a sleeping bag. We also recommend a first-aid kit, headlamp, and trekking poles. We supply duffel bags and trekking gear on request.
Safety is our #1 priority. Our guides are government-licensed, trained in wilderness first aid, and carry satellite phones and oxygen systems for high-altitude treks. We conduct thorough pre-trek briefings, monitor weather conditions daily, and maintain a 100% safety record. We also recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering emergency evacuation.
Absolutely! We specialize in tailor-made itineraries to match your interests, fitness level, and schedule. Whether you want to add extra rest days, combine treks with cultural tours, or include safari experiences, we'll create a bespoke journey that's perfect for you. Just let us know your preferences and we'll handle the rest.
We offer flexible cancellation terms to give you peace of mind. Cancellations made 30 days or more before departure receive a full refund (minus a small administrative fee). Cancellations made 15–29 days before departure receive a 75% refund, and 7–14 days receive a 50% refund. Last-minute cancellations (within 7 days) are non-refundable, though we work with you to find alternative dates wherever possible.
