Booking Policy Your booking is confirmed once we receive: * A completed booking form. * A 20% deposit of the total trip cost. * A copy of your passport (for permits and documentation). The remaining balance can be paid upon arrival in Kathmandu before the trek begins, either in cash (USD, EUR, NPR) or by approved digital payment methods.
Cancellation Policy * More than 30 days before departure: Full refund of the deposit, minus any bank or payment processing fees. * 15–30 days before departure: 50% of the deposit is refundable. * Less than 15 days before departure: Deposit is non-refundable. * Unused services after the trek begins are generally non-refundable.
Refund Policy At Lekali Trek Expedition & Adventure, we understand that travel plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our operational commitments. (Before Departure) * 31 days or more before departure: 100% refund of payments made, excluding bank charges, payment gateway fees, and any non-refundable permit or processing fees. * 15–30 days before departure: 50% refund of the total trip cost, excluding non-refundable expenses already incurred. * 14 days or less before departure: No refund. After the Trek Has Started Once the trek has commenced, no refunds will be provided for: * Unused accommodation * Missed meals * Transportation * Guide or porter services * Early departure or voluntary withdrawal from the trek Permit & Government Fees Government-issued permits, entrance fees, and visa charges are non-refundable once they have been processed or issued. Medical Emergencies If a trek is interrupted due to illness or injury, refunds cannot be guaranteed for unused services. Guests are strongly advised to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers high-altitude trekking, medical treatment, emergency evacuation, and trip interruption. Trip Cancellation by Lekali Trekks If Lekali Trekks cancels a trip due to operational reasons, guests may choose one of the following: * A full refund of all payments made. * A free transfer of the booking to another available departure date. * Credit toward another trek with Lekali Trekks. Refund Processing Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days using the original payment method whenever possible. Bank charges, exchange rate differences, and third-party transaction fees may be deducted where applicable.
