Booking & Travel Policies

These terms and conditions govern your use of our website, services, tour bookings, payments, travel arrangements, and adventure activities across Nepal.

1. Booking Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. Your reservation will only be confirmed after successful payment and official confirmation from our team.

Travelers must provide accurate personal information during booking.
Passport details must match official travel documents.
Incomplete bookings may be automatically cancelled.
Booking confirmation will be sent via email or WhatsApp within 24 hours.
Group bookings may require a deposit to secure space.

2. Payments & Pricing

Prices displayed on the website are subject to change depending on season, availability, flights, permits, and exchange rates.

Advance payment may be required for tours and trekking.
Payments can be made using cards, bank transfer, eSewa, Khalti, and online gateways.
Government taxes and permit fees may apply separately.
Failure to complete payment may cancel the booking automatically.
All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted officially through email or customer support.

Cancellations made 30+ days before departure qualify for a 90% refund.
Cancellations made 15–29 days before departure qualify for a 50% refund.
Cancellations made 7–14 days before departure qualify for a 25% refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before departure are non-refundable.
Flight cancellation charges depend on airline policies.
Permit and government fees are generally non-refundable.
No refunds apply after the tour has started.

4. Travel Insurance

Travelers are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance covering trekking, medical emergencies, helicopter rescue, and trip cancellation.

Insurance is mandatory for high altitude trekking routes.
The company is not responsible for uninsured losses.
Emergency evacuation costs may be charged directly if not insured.
We can assist in arranging insurance upon request.

5. Health & Safety

Adventure activities involve physical effort and weather risks. Travelers should consult medical professionals before travel.

Travelers are responsible for their personal fitness.
Guides may modify itineraries for safety reasons.
Weather conditions in Nepal can affect flights and trekking schedules.
Altitude sickness can occur during mountain trekking; we provide guidance and emergency protocols.
Travelers must disclose pre-existing medical conditions.

6. Passport, Visa & Permits

Travelers are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, permits, and travel documents before departure.

Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.
Nepal visa requirements vary depending on nationality; check with the nearest Nepali embassy.
Special permits may be required for restricted trekking areas (e.g., Mustang, Manaslu).
The company is not liable for denied entry due to invalid documents.
We can assist with permit arrangements upon request.

7. Website Usage Policy

Users must use the website responsibly and legally.

Unauthorized copying of website content is prohibited.
Users must not attempt to hack or disrupt website services.
False bookings and fraudulent activities are strictly prohibited.
Account misuse may lead to suspension or legal action.
We reserve the right to update content without prior notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Lekali Trek acts as a travel organizer and is not responsible for uncontrollable events including weather, political issues, natural disasters, strikes, or airline delays.

Schedules may change without prior notice.
Travelers accept risks associated with adventure travel.
The company is not responsible for lost belongings.
Liability is limited to the total amount paid for services.
We recommend travel insurance to cover unforeseen events.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable laws.

Personal data is collected for booking and communication purposes only.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties without consent.
Payment information is processed securely via trusted gateways.
You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time.
Our privacy policy is available upon request.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kathmandu, Nepal.

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the latest terms.
If any provision is found invalid, the remainder shall remain in effect.
